What did I want to be as a child?
I wanted to do a lot of things and went through serious phases of career changes. First I wanted to be an archaeologist, then a lawyer, and then a forensic pathologist. I was so serious about forensic pathology for awhile that I had looked up all the schooling that I needed to finish–licensing and residency and all that. Plus when people are already dead, no medical malpractice.
Now I wish I had done some anthropology classes at Oberlin, or double majored in anthropology. Oh well.
