Best job I’ve ever had…
I haven’t had very many jobs but of the ones I’ve had I think working at the CLHP (center for leadership in health promotion) at college was my favorite. The environment really worked with my personality—being in constant communication but not feeling like someone’s breathing down my neck—and the purpose of the work was right what I wanted to be doing, focusing on health & wellness. I think what also made it great was that we practiced what we preached. By that I mean you see lots of stressed out and sick health professionals, health non-profits that work their employees to death with no concern with their own wellness. But at the CLHP there was always space for us to deal with our own personal health and wellness; it was practically requisite. So for that, I loved this job, wish I’d known about it sooner.
