People in Taiwan are SERIOUS about their umbrellas when it starts raining. I mean, our program comes to a complete standstill until everyone who doesn’t have an umbrella with them is paired up with someone who does so that no one gets wet. Even if it’s drizzling and you don’t necessarily want to put up your own umbrella, someone who has theirs up will come along and walk alongside you to keep even the smallest drip from getting on your head–and don’t refuse. It’s hilariously deep. But hey, they also have pretty cute umbrellas for sale.
Guess I better get used to it because it’s supposed to be a rainy week.
