Philly

Throughout my long day in Philadelphia (with no computer) there were many little things I wanted to write about: my ridiculous trip getting to the bus on time; searching for a bathroom in philly that didn’t require a bunch of BS; magically running into a starbucks every time I needed to pee; walking MILES in philadelphia; this crazy woman dancing during the taste of philly entertainment while wearing the MOST distasteful outfit (jersey dresses are NOT for every one, every size, or every age…sorry); my more than flaky friend who lives there but didn’t take off work, which is why I spent the day alone; and my crazy long speed walk from Penn’s Landing to 30th/Market St. to catch the megabus (which involved an eerily timed walk under the big clock on market street just as it struck 9 pm).

Each had some little anecdote, little funny ha ha, some irony.

But at the end of the day…this warm, not too hot, sunny, with a nice little breeze and well timed periods of overcast, eventful, scenic, quiet day…it was great! And I think I fell in love with Philadelphia just a bit.
