Moving & Shaking, Day 11

Moving: So, um…yea. I didn’t quite get around to moving today. I maybe should have done the pike press exercise like I had planned to, but now it’s getting late and I am about to pull an all-nighter with my 5 hour energy and finish up my midterms. Plus my feet are still really sore from breaking in my fivefingers. I clearly overdid it.

I did get some exercise though, running around in celebration of Holi. Holi (aka the Festival of Colors) is an Indian holiday that celebrates the coming of Spring and all its colors, as well as commemorating good harvests and fertile lands. I’m sure you’ve seen pictures of it, because the way people celebrate it is to throw vividly colored and perfumed powder on each other.

It smelled like roses, and it was so pretty. But I was definitely a hot, caked up mess after all was said and done. AND different parts of my body are stained with the powder with streaks of green, pink, and purple. Ah well.

Shaking: Dandelions

  • 2 cups dandelion greens
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 inches ginger
  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cups peaches
  • ice
  • 2 maca root tablets
  • 1 guarana tablets
