30 Day Challenge: Revised

Okay, so I was trying to follow the 30 day challenge posted on the BodyRockTV website, but with the new trainers and format, they are just using WAY too much equipment for me. It used to be pretty balanced where maybe 1 exercise in the combo had minimal equipment (like a sandbag that I could sub for a backpack filled with books, or just do unweighted entirely). But now every other exercise requires something and they’ve even started incorporating new equipment.

With that said, I went back through the archives of workouts to the earlier ones, which were almost entirely bodyweight. So I’m going to choose from those from now on (especially since I prefer Zuzana, the original trainer, to the new ones).

Today’s workout: Real Hot Workout; 12 rounds (50 s/10 s), 3 exercises repeated 4 times

My scores:

  • one leg squat and jump tuck (alternating legs)–10, 10, 8, 8
  • santana zuzana push up (alternating sides)–7, 8.5, 8, 8.5
  • side jump and side lunge (alternating sides/legs)–13, 12, 12, 12
